Waste and resource management is an integral part of every single business. As experts in providing sustainable solutions to waste and resource management issues, operating within a complex legislative framework, there are many opportunities to support clients to reduce their compliance risks, manage wastes sustainably and where possible add value to the bottom line.
The role of a waste and resource management sales consultant is therefore an extremely varied one. We will ensure that you have the training you need to be able to speak knowledgably to clients about regulations such as TEEP and also the waste hierarchy and how it impacts their business.
So, what could you expect your working day to look like? As a sales consultant you’ll be at the frontline of our new business development. You’ll be calling and visiting new clients. Some of the client leads will be provided for you, but research and opportunity development will be integral to your role. We know the markets that we are targeting and it’s important that you have experience in selling to one or more of the following sectors:
• Logistics and distribution
• Corporate offices and property management
• Events and venues
This role is home based, so you will possess excellent time management skills and lots of self-motivation. You will be travelling extensively to clients’ sites and must be happy dealing with unexpected issues which would involve you managing your time on the road.
