The WISG Warriors are back! On Saturday 18th May, 17 brave (or slightly bonkers) members of the Windsor Integrated Services Team will be getting muddy for charity running Nuclear Rush a challenging seven kilometre muddy assault course!

With the course set over a fast-paced, ultra-muddy, flowing terrain, it has been designed to test every ability of fitness but certainly isn’t for the faint hearted. The course consists of over 50 obstacles, including gruelling muddy trenches, zip lines, monkey bars and the infamous death slide.

The team will be running to raise money for local charity Saint Francis Hospice. Saint Francis Hospice is an independent charity and one of the largest adult hospices in the UK. Their team of specialist consultants, doctors, nurses and a range of other health and social care professionals provide care and support to individuals with life limiting illness as well as their carers and family members, completely free of charge.

Faye Windsor, Group Operations Director commented: “With previous experience of this event, I can say that this is a tough challenge but it’s great to see so many of the team getting involved. Some team members have completed it in previous years and are brave or crazy enough to do it again and others are complete newbies, but we will work together to make sure we all get through it which is what it’s all about! WISG are committed to supporting local charities and we would welcome and appreciate as much support as possible to raise funds for Saint Francis Hospice which provides much needed care and respite for individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families.”
